The promotion of diabetes awareness is largely accomplished through the dissemination of culturally-relevant materials. We are committed to providing the Cambodian community culturally relevant materials and messages that specifically support the experiences, knowledge and beliefs of the community with respects to diabetes.
The materials listed here target diabetes education in a culturally relevant way
to reach Limited-English Speaking People with diabetes prevention and control messages in Khmer. All materials are designed and chosen using community-based participatory approaches, where the community is an integral part of the design and dissemination of these materials.
